MISS TOURISM NIGERIA 2020/21
Miss Prisca Nwabodo, a real estate agent from Delta state has been crowned the 9th Miss Tourism Nigeria and will represent her country at the Miss Tourism World 2020/21 Final.
With over 1726 entries the judges had the difficult decision of shortlisting to 100 contestants to go forward to the elimination rounds.
The final 35 contestants were invited to the Queens-Ville and Prisca was crowned the winner.
As a Tourism Ambassador for Nigeria she says “I wish to promote the existing tourist attractions of Nigeria, whilst also helping to identify new destinations of interest. I also wish to promote the role of women in the tourism industry, by encouraging more employment of females in the roles usually occupied by males.”
MISS TOURISM SERBIA 2020/21
Under the license of Miss Tourism World was held the national selection of Miss Tourism Serbia 2021, whose director and exclusive license owner for Serbia is Mr. Dragan Coso.
Miss Katarina Stevanović was chosen as the representative of Serbia, and she will represent our country at the Miss Tourism World pageant as a beauty ambassador in tourism.
Katarina Stevanovic is a student of the Music Academy in Belgrade, she is engaged in ethno singing and plays two musical instruments, piano and violin.
The election was sponsored by the MINISTRY OF TRADE, TOURISM AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS of Republic of Serbia.
The event was held in the period from February 7th to March 7th, 2021 live on the national TV HAPPY, in the show “PRELO IN OUR ALLEY” (PRELO meaning – a place where village girls show their spinning skills-old-fashioned handicrafts).
The formal announcement was held on March 7, 2021, live on TV. The official Miss Tourism of Serbia was announced by Dr. Miroslav Knezevic, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism.
The crown was presented by the current Miss Jovana Pavlović.

18 finalists from various tourist destinations from Serbia participated in the final selection.
The “ANABELA” wedding dress salon was responsible for special evening dresses.
Ivana Berber took care of the make-up, and Stojan Jejina took care of the hairstyle.
Florist “FLOWER EXPRESS” made special flower arrangements for finalists.
We started on March 1st 2020 the program and activities concerning the project for the final event of Miss Tourism Serbia for MTW 2021. We promoted tourist products, tourist destinations of Serbia, as well as the Serbia tourist offers in the world, with the aim of promoting tourism in Serbia, the region and the world.
The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Republic of Serbia was our main sponsor and all announcements, castings, promotions and other activities that we carried out in the presentation of our project, we organized under the slogan “BEAUTY COMES FROM SERBIA”.
We have also formed a jury (journalists from various magazines, internet portals, tabloids, representatives from the field of tourism, as well as prominent, and well-known members from public and cultural life, for castings in cities, regions where we selected the contestants. In cooperation with national TV, “HAPPY” in the show “Prelo in our alley “, as well as numerous other televisions, newspapers, magazines, internet portals … which followed the selection for the most beautiful girl in Serbia in tourism in 2020/21.
In period from February 7th until March 7th, on every Saturday and Sunday from 12-15h was live program with activities for the selection of Miss Tourism of Serbia.
The shows in which the contestants present themselves are enriched by the presentation of tradition, culture, history of Serbia, where Folk Dance Ensembles of Serbia and famous celebrities from our cultural life participated.
We believe that the elected Miss Katarina Stevanovic, the representative of Serbia at the world pageant Miss Tourism World 2021, will successfully present our country and that she will repeat the success of our previous representatives at the world beauty pageants in tourism.
2019/20 Miss Tourism Japan Final
Our 2019 Miss Tourism Japan final was held and organized by Miss Tourism East Asia whose CEO and official licence holder is Mr. Trevor Dare.
Miss Izumi Nishida, fashion store manager, was crowned the new Miss Tourism Japan and she will represent her country as the ambassador of tourism at the Miss Tourism World 2019/2020 pageant.
The final pageant was held in Earth+Gallery Exhibition/Event space in Tokyo.

MISS TOURISM AUSTRALIA CROWNED MISS TOURISM WORLD!
Miss Tourism World 2018/2019 is Miss Tourism Australia, the stunning Juliana Nikol.
Miss Tourism World 2017, Andrea Katherine Guiterrez Puentes handed over her crown to a stunned Juliana, as the Miss Tourism World contestants applauded the new winner.
Juliana from Sydney, is a media student and enjoys acting, music, dancing, art and travelling. Her ambition is to be a successful actor and travel the world.
As Tourism Ambassador for Australia, Juliana stated I am proud to be a Tourism Ambassador for Australia. I wish to promote our beautiful country to the rest of the world as a destination for all cultures. Australia is a country of diverse cultures and encourages cultural exchange.
Visitors would not only get to see Australia’s breath-taking beaches, scenery and landscapes but also experience the Australian way of life.
I am sure she has made everyone in Australia proud being crowned Miss Tourism World 2018/2019 and promoting the tourism and beauty of her country.

Miss Tourism World 1st Runner up was awarded to Miss Tourism World Poland, Karina Pochwala.
Karina from Koszalin, Poland is a model and enjoys running and playing the piano.
As Tourism Ambassador for Poland, Karina stated “I am proud to be a Tourism Ambassador for Poland as I wish to show everyone the beauty of my country, its history and all the wonderful places to visit.”

Miss Tourism World 2nd Runner up was awarded to Miss Tourism World Finland, Nina-Mariel Kallio.
Nina is a student and enjoys going to the gym, playing the piano and travelling.
As Tourism Ambassador for Finland, Nina stated “I am proud to be a Tourism Ambassador for Finland. I would like to introduce my clean, safe and friendly country with one of the best education and health care systems in the world. Not too many people have been in my beautiful country: Finland is known as “Land of thousand lakes” and it’s also the best place to spot the northern lights. 70% of this country is basically forests, so this land is incredibly green. Finland is so unique with our own invention “Sauna” and of course, Santa Claus who lives here.”

Northern Cyprus
Miss Tourism World 3rd Runner up was awarded to Miss Tourism World Northern Cyprus, Fulya Tilki.
Fulya is a student at University and enjoys keeping fit, reading and attending classical music concerts.
As Tourism Ambassador for Northern Cyprus, Fulya stated “I am proud to be a Tourism Ambassador for Northern Cyprus as tourism is a strong factor that brings people with different cultural backgrounds together. We should spread the value of friendship, because these strong values help the world to be a better place by crossing boundaries.”

Miss Tourism World 4th Runner up was awarded to Miss Tourism World Uganda, Anita Agabare.
Anita is a Tourism Ambassador and enjoys singing, travelling and gymnastics.
As Tourism Ambassador for Uganda, Anita stated “I am proud to be a Tourism Ambassador for Uganda as with the experience I have had as a tourism ambassador in my country, I have been able to fight against climate change through tree planting in various regions. I believe if this was carried on by the rest of the world, we can change the world for the future generations to come.”
